The collaborative work «Der vielfältig unerschöpfliche Weg aus tausend Begegnungen und Verwandlungen der Undulipodien» was developed by the two artists Vanessà Heer and Sarah Züst along research and dialogues for "incorporation". In the process, a grotto-like construction opens a mouth that is a laughing one: the pleasure of women* is often violently sanctioned and this trace can be traced back deeply into history in myths, tales and anecdotes. In contrast, the installation is based on a feminist historiography. It tells of movable undulipodia, which in the waves of their polyphony make fertilization possible in the first place. In this inverted laughing Medusa, the visitors encounter a thousand little feet like stories, which are permanently transformed in constant movement: Through a self-generating patch of a modular synthesizer, the undulating movements of the undulipodia are simulated, amplified by membranes. The 'grotto-like' construction itself thus becomes a vibrating, constantly moving sound body.
