We made audio recordings of the demonstration and the performances that took place during the feminist strike day in 2019 and 2020. We will incorporate excerpts of them into a fictional story about a somatic form of communication called the «Spinewave». A telephatic frequency for queer and intersectional feminist resistance, which is unhackable for any Oppressor.
The 14.th of June 2019, the largest demonstration in swiss history, was an overwhelming experience. We could feel how public space and perception changes when in the middle of a female, feminist majority. We felt like part of a huge medusa, laughing across the landscape, echoing around the world. The fight against patriarchy turned into a massive, happy and hopeful celebration of contemporary feminism and our lives.
